Using database or reference data with Confluence - Input sensitive?

Hi dear community,

I'm looking for some macro-related guidance (or any help) on using reference data (stored in database or elsewhere) in Confluence. Like the excerp macro to include data from other Confluence pages.

I wish to create a data table (can be a Confluence table on a page with 3-5 fields) that I can reference from other Confluence pages using input sensitive search in the table records (like when you search for a user with typing the '@' character.

Any guidance on what to read, where to start?

Hi @Norbert

I think our newest app Orderly Databases for Confluence Cloud could be a great fit for you.

With this app you can create databases and reference them with the help of the Orderly Database macro on any page you like in form of a table. Alternatively, you can directly create a new database on a specific Confluence page. Here you can also adjust the view with the help of filters and database settings.

You can choose from a variety of common field types like text, page links (with automated page creation if required), users or selectable items. You can also link two databases by using the entry link field. 

Of course you can also reference specific entries or values from that database with the Orderly Entry or Value Macro on any other page in Confluence.
