Wiki page environment - JIRA

Hi,

in our company we will start using JIRA for task and project management. How we can set up a wiki for documentation, is Confuence or JIRA offers this option?

Confluence is a wiki (albeit without wiki markup, so it's a bit of a blurry definition. But it's the place for free-format documentation)

Jira is an issue tracker. It's a good place to track stuff that needs doing, but not write documentation. Obviously, the two integrate quite well though...

I confirm:

Confluence is a wiki with a "MS Word-style" editor, so it's very easy to handle.
In Confluence, you can easily paste images of whatever product you're documenting, so it's the best place to put your documentation.
Also in Confluence, you can paste JIRA issues and lists and they're tied to JIRA (which is very useful for release notes: "All issues fixes in 2.2.1: ..."). The opposite is true: the JIRA issue mentions the Confluence page.
