how we can automatically attach blank document to JIRA issue

Question

In Jira project, we would like to attach blank documents at certain points in the

workflow(s).

When an issue of particular type transitions from "IN REVIEW" to "APPROVED,"  we want to attach the blank document which is in pdf format.

Is this possible to do, If yes

Please guide me.

@Sneha Prakash Somnathe It is possible with the Better PDF Automation app!

Just as you wanted, it can generate and attach a PDF to a Jira issue. Even better, the "blank" document can contain information that is dynamically added when generating it (like a timestamp, issue information, etc.).

Basically, set up a standard Jira automation rule with the "Issue transitioned" trigger and the "Attach PDF" action:

This is not possible out of the box, you will need an addon to achieve this or create your own script using te REST API
