How do you set page restrictions using the confluence server 7.13.2 REST API?

I see where the API lists how to GET the current page restrictions, but see no option for PUT or POST to make changes. If there is no possible way to do this, I would accept an answer that showed how I could create a new page with page restrictions already in place.

Hi Pramodh,

Thank you for the reference. I have studied it. It seem that in the last 5 years since that question was asked, the API has changed considerably.

The PUT method that Hasnae suggests gives me a 405 "method not allowed" error.

The experimental POST method she suggests seems to no longer exist.
