Hidding page options for unlicensed users

Hi,

We have a Confluence instance that we use as a Knowledge base for our Jira Service Management customers (who are unlicensed authenticated Confluence users).

When an authenticated user visits the knowledge base, he has a lot of options on the page "..." button (see SS attached). For example, I don't want my clients to be able to access all historic versions of a given article.

Is there a way to make these options completely disappear for unlicensed users or, ideally, just have Export PDF / Export Word as options ?

If you have ScriptRunner, you might be able to hide the whole ... menu or its individual parts.

I say might because I'm not sure how you'd identify that the page is being used as a KB article vs. being viewed as a page. There's probably a way, though, maybe by checking for Anonymous permissions being used.

If you don't have ScriptRunner and don't want to write something from scratch, then, yeah, not much you can do.

If your Space is connected to the knowledge base, there is no way that space permission or page restriction will work

Export options cannot be disabled as of now, but there is a feature request on the same

If your Space permission has anonymous access, the page access is defined via page restrictions

Thanks for your reply. My question is not regarding access to pages for unlicensed users. I already have that set up (as a Knowledge base for my service desk project).

My question, is there any way to hide all the options of an article for unlicensed users or anonymous users?

Here's what my article looks like today for an unlicensed user (notice the options button that the red arrow is pointing to (1st SS attached).

That button gives a lot of options (2rd SS attached). Is there a way to hide those options (from everyone or just from unlicensed users) so that when unlicensed users visit my page/article, there won't be any options (see last SS)
