Auto update issue after X days

Question

Is there anyway to create some kind of setting that would take an issue at a certain status and automatically update the issue after X amount of days.

Example:

You open a ticket and it goes into 'Open' Status. After 100 days of no changes the ticket automatically transitions to 'Abandoned'

It seems as though Jelly isn't setup on our jira and I'd prefer to not have to restart our server if possible. Do you know of alternatives to using Jelly?

Add a jelly service with the required filter that gives you the issues.
