I just want to ask if I can use lookup issues in jira server? or any alternative?
Hi @Mkurama
No, it is not available yet. You can vote for the request and follow it here:
https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JIRAAUTOSERVER-53
What do you mean by "lookup issues"?
Do you mean something like finding an issue when you're trying to create a link between two issues? Or are you talking about searching for issues?
Yes, and...to what John notes:
Server/Data Center version does not have Lookup Issues, and the equivalent feature is the bulk-handling option for the scheduled trigger or for branches. Please look here to learn more about that option.

Kind regards,Bill
Thank you @John Funk and @Bill Sheboy for your responses.
Sorry @John Funk for that repeated question it happened by mistake.
See @John Funk post.
That does not explain what "lookup issues" means.
It's a function inside of Automation for Jira. It returns a list of issues versus a single issue.
No worries :-)
A potential workaround might be to do a webrequest to your filter and get the total from the json and then do whatever you want with it e.g. send it to Slack.
Hi @bstinson
That same summing is possible with the bulk-handing features without a need to call the REST API for an issue search. Please see: https://confluence.atlassian.com/automation/bulk-handling-of-issues-993924653.html
