Is it possible to back fill an incident and add the component affected? I want the downtime for the component to be registered even if the incident is logged later on.

I too have been unable to find this feature, and would love a solution.
The only way I've found to work around this is to separately backfill an incident. And then go into the component and log some downtime. However this does not create a relationship between the two. The latter piece being the most important, and seems to be missing.
