looking for PEER REVIEW plugin or process in JIRA

Hello Everyone,

 

I am working on JIRA tool for our test case management. Now, we are looking towards creating peer review tasks in the tool. Does this tool support peer review directly or do we need to install any plugin to accomplish this . Please suggest a way forward.

Peer Reviewing processes can easily be built within a Jira workflow. You can create different statuses and transitions between them, and in doing so can easily force a user through a Peer Review part of the workflow before the task can be complete.

You can add screens on the transitions between the statuses, allowing a user to assign the task to someone as they send it off for a peer review, and can add validations to the transitions to ensure that certain field values are set by the user before they are able to complete a transition.

You could alternatively create an Automation rule which auto-generates a Peer Review sub-task of the main task, and with default Jira conditions can make sure that this sub-task is complete before the main task can be completed.
