How to freeze initial storypoints ?

Question

We use Storypoints to estimate a weight of our stories.
At some point it might be that we decrease or need to increase these storypoints during the active interation.

We want to keep the original storypoint estimate somewhere and wanted to use the original storypoints field for this.

Questions

- are there automatic ways to sync the original storypoint ?

- if not, is there a simple way to copy storypoints field to orginal storypoint fields ?

- Somebody same requirement and other solution ?

So i h understand correct is bulk copy from 1 field to another ?

We need to use Scriptrunner or Automation for Jira in order to have this restriction

Currently, the specified requirement is not possible without any plugins

The approach would be to copy the Story point field to another field and make the copied story point read-only.

If you are okay with not making the field read-only Automation for Jira can be used.
