I am unable to import csv in jira

Question

when ever im importing csv file into jira its showing error

"The CSV file you uploaded contains non-ASCII characters. Make sure to set the right encoding."

i searched it in the community and unable to see tools option while saving excel sheet as per previous solution in the community can anyone please let me know what should be done here

When you are saving the file, what file type are you saving it as? Can you attach a screenshot?

Make sure you are editing the file in text editor with CSV format
