Enriching Opsgenie MS Teams notifications

Is there a way to enrich the Cloudwatch messages Opsgenie sends to MS Teams?

Currently the only information displayed is:

Alarm Name: Name
Alarm Description: Description
Priority: P3
Status: [eg Open]
Source: Cloudwatch
Buttons for Ack, Close, Add note and Snooze.

The actual Cloudwatch alert in Opsgenie has a lot more information than that. Can I enrich the message sent to Teams to include that information?

Hi @Joel Bradley - there isn't a way to modify what gets sent to MS Teams. It sends the message, description, priority, status, source, and tags field of the Opsgenie alert.

Could you share which fields of the alert are not being sent to Teams? Is it the Extra Properties field? If so - it's not possible for the Extra Properties to be sent in the message to Teams, but you could modify the integration in Opsgenie that's creating these alerts to map that information into one of the fields that is sent to Teams, instead of the extra properties.

Tags wasn't showing up because there was nothing mapped to it. I will use that.

but further to my previous question... Is there any way to get the Opsgenie Teams bot to accept HTML tags. For example:

We'd really love to have a clickable link to those CloudWatch logs.
Those links work on both OG web and mobile apps.

Hi Joel,

The bot uses adaptive cards in MS Teams, which unfortunately does not support HTML , we have a feature request to send using markdown which adaptive cards do support, but currently this isn't possible.
