Does anyone on a UX Team use JIRA for UX sprint planning? If so, do you you a Kanban Board, for visual work representation, and a Scrum Board for scheduling sprints?

Kindly be informed you can use both the boards based on your requirements.
In one of my earlier projects, we used Kanban board just to visualize the progress and flow of the tasks.
However, if you are running it as a big project spanning for certain period of time (weeks to months), I suggest use a Scrum board to plan Sprints and releases with good number of reporting's.
Thank you. Can you share workflow status' across the two boards, or would you have separate status' for each board. For example:
Kanban Status'
Scrum Status'
You can define your own work flow statuses for both the boards. Ideally won't need to be same.
