There is no clear answer for that.
There is scheduled job "Clean Temporary Directory" which doesn't include the temp directory located in the confluence install directory.
So, is it safe to clean content of temp directory in installation path?
If yes then should I stop confluence service or it's safe to remove files on running instance?
