Updating the Confluence Server Error

Question

Dear Users,

when we try to update the server to 7.15.0 an error occurs: "com.install4j.runtime.beans.actions.control.RunScriptAction failed"

We can ignore the error, but we dont know wether it will affect our database or the site.

Is there anything we can do?

Hi @Wolfgang Engelbrecht There can be many scenarios why the page load is failing, It would be best to engage Atlassian Support by raising a support ticket to them for further help.

we tried Ignoring it and then The Page wouldnt load anymore afterwards. Reinstalled the Backup. Is there any other soluion?

Are you using windows installer ? If yes, then you might have hit this bug in that case it is safe to ignore the error. I would advise you to vote and start watching that bug for further updates. Hope this helps.
