Creating quick filter including several assignees without naming them all

Hello everybody,

I wanna create a quickfilter to show me tasks from several assignees.

As for now I am using the JQL-syntax:

"assigne = user e001 or assignee user e002 or assignee e003"

Is there any possibility like "assignee = e00*" instead of listing each assigne in the syntax?

Jira's user names and logins are not indexed in a way that would support that, so it can't be done.  It's not common for use names to have any discernable pattern like "starting with x", so Atlassian have never worried about doing it.

I'm afraid you'll either have to name your individuals, or maybe look at using a different method of grouping the users - a simple group might be the best option, as you can then say things like

assignee in membersOf("my-developer-group")

This has the bonus of staying valid as people leave or join the group!
