private user space

Hi

I would like to know if this is possible, our CTO/CEO would like their own private space, this is where they can upload accounts etc. This would need to be private to them, no admin should be able to view the contents.

We would like it so only the user logged in would be able to access this information, the only way of getting access to the content is if you change the users password which would be logged etc.

Users can have personal spaces. In the Confluence global permissions there is a check box to allow personal spaces to individuals or to groups. By default a personal space is limited to that user. So if an admin goes to the personal space by default they will not be allowed to. However, an admin can assign themselves permission. There is no way around that. The is just a fundamental security issue. Someone has to be able to get to all information otherwise it could be possible to have information that is locked out to everyone without a way to retrieve it. Beyond that many Confluence system administrators also have database access, so at that point they could get at the information in other ways if they so desired. Really, there is no way to keep admins out of information if they so desired. This is really bigger then Confluence too. Any system with a good security model will have an administrator that cannot be locked out of content. Thus, the need to have administrators that you can trust.
