Confluence support for data encryption & other security factors

We need some more details on Confluence:

· Does confluence support data encryption at infrastructure (database & storage side), so that infrastructure admins can’t see the data?

· Can we restrict the spaces based on a specific LDAP attributes, for example, few spaces are restricted for Non-US users which can be derived from an LDAP attribute?

· What should be the data backup strategy if we deploy Confluence in single server mode?

Infrastructure encryption works fine, as long as Confluence can get a standard database connection for read/write out of the database server.

The permissions are permissive rather than restrictive.  If you have Non-US users, you will need to put them into an LDAP group that identifies them as Non-US, and then not use that group in the restricted space's permissions.

And for training, have a look at https://www.atlassian.com/university (free) and https://www.atlassian.com/purchase/training to start with, although some of the Atlassian Experts and Partners also do training (I should point out that I work for one of these partners, so feel free to consider that third one as a bit of an advert for Adaptavist Training!).  I don't know what you mean by "GE" seats though.
