How do place text and macro content in one line

Question

In Confluence 3.5,

*Location:* {metadata:Location}Germany Rm 938{metadata}.

{noformat}

renders in one line. In Confluence 4.x, it renders in two separates lines, it somehow forces a line break and places the macro content on the second line. How can I format this so that it shows up in one line.
