I am using the Forum macro and I created a template for the blogs, New Topic button is not working.

The macro allows a template to be added. However, when the New Topic button is used, it opens the raw template not what the template is supposed to display to the writers. It works fine with the Add Page via Form  macro. 

I either need to know how to fix the New topic button or remove it.
