As here (picture from the Internet): But today, I and many of my colleagues began to see only 4 columns out of 8: This is very inconvenient, we have to reduce the page zoom in the browser to see all columns, but it also affects the font and we don't see the task names well. Is this some kind of bug? Or how can I fix this issue?

Hi @Kate C ,

This is the issue with Next Gen projects. The Width of the column is not adjustable.

You can use a free Chrome extension called Better Jira. It will let you modify the width of your columns.

Unfortunately, the issue hasn't disappeared, and this plugin doesn't solve my problem. Columns are still not adjustable.

There is currently no option for you to set the size of board columns, but there are issues in Atlassian's backlog on the topic. Here are the ones related to Jira Server.

Something must have changed from JIRA side recently here. I was able to see all 10 colums next to each other in the last 1,5 years. It only changed 2 days ago to not having the possibility to zoom out anymore. Only scroll bars appeared.

This now makes it impossible to have an overview of the whole board

We're having the same issue company wide on a board we've used for years. All of a sudden the board doesn't fit on 1080p or 1440p monitor resolutions. We only see 4 out of 8 columns now and have to scroll horizontally.

It's absolutely terrible to use now.

I opened a Jira support ticket this morning so I'll keep this post updated with what I hear from that. It's incredibly frustrating to use the board in this state.

I received a reply from my Jira support ticket for this issue. I'm going to join the others and voice my frustrations on that ticket linked below. Our team is having a pretty difficult time using Jira now .

Based on the information, and the community link you mentioned, this change is due to a very recent update to Jira Cloud for Horizontal Scrolling:

JSWCLOUD-21013: Jira Board Horizontal Scrolling

This explains why you're seeing different behavior after all this time! This functionality has been years in the making (that link above was started in October 2018), and it looks like we're now starting to roll this out to Jira sites.

We're still working on adjusting and improving the Horizontal Scroll usability for all customers, so along with this new feature we've also created an entry that you can use to provide feedback to the development team regarding this new functionality:

One possible current workaround would be to zoom out within the browser tab/window itself (using Control + - keys on Windows or Command + - keys on Mac) in order to shrink the window to fit more content.

Hi @Pooja Sharad Wagh , but didt'n work... The Stand mode is OK, but I couldn't resize the column :-(

I changed the column width from 200 to 150.... to100... and nothing happened.

1. install the Stylebot plugin, that helps to customize the current web page style
