If url ends with - causes issues

If you somehow get sent a url like

https://jira.xxxx.com/browse/XXXX-19841-

It will read like

https://jira.xxxx.com/browse/XXXX-19841

But adding comments will work.

Can you help to redirect to the correct URL first?

Are you having issues when you just copy and paste the URL in? Does it happen when you use the insert link function? My guess is that it gets parsed due to the markdown.
