If I want to display the summary of parent issue in one custom field what to do?

I am working on one issue where there are two custom fields

1. Associate parent issue

2. Associated parent issue summary.

while creating an issue there is a dropdown box for associate parent issue. I need to select one value from dropdown. and later the summary of the created issue should be displayed  in the second field i.e. Associated parent issue summary.

so is there any code for this to display the details

@Saudamini Deshmukh You would need to use an app like scriptrunner or JSU to copy the parent content on issue create.  I would suggest JSU since it will be a simple workflow change https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/5048/jsu-automation-suite-for-jira-workflows?hosting=server&tab=overview
