Is there a way to set one specific alert to page during a defined time window only?

My team is looking to implement an alert in our test environment, but only want the alert to page through OpsGenie during business hours, 9am-5pm CST.  We have watchers built in Kibana that integrate to OpsGenie that generate alerts.  Is there a way to detect this specific alert and define alert parameters such as time window to alert or not?

Hi Brian,

A notification policy would be the best method to avoid notifying your users for specific types of alerts only during business hours:

These can be configured under the team's Policies tab. Note these are only included in the Standard and Enterprise plans. Your policy might look something like this:

^ This would delay notifications for the Kibana / Elasticsearch alerts until the next weekday at 9am.

There isn't a way within the integration to only have the alerts get created in Opsgenie during business hours.

But you can configure alerts to not notify anyone unless they're created during business hours.

This can be done by setting up a routing rule on the team the alerts are going to to route alerts to no-one if they come in outside of business hours...

e.g.

So when an alert goes to a team, it follows the routing rules on that team. So you can add a routing rule to route alerts to "no-one" that come in during certain hours.

Alternatively, you can setup a notification policy on a team to delay notifications, or suppress notifications for an alert that come in during certain hours.
