On my Project board in the epic panel I can the the progress for an epic in percent based on story point estimation, see picture below:

The percent value is visible when you hover over the progress bar.
My question is:
Can I have that percent value in an issue filter as column?
Create calculated custom field
All googling points me to several plugins. Is that really the way to go? Or is possible with JIRA out of the box?
Scripted calculated custom field is the only way for this requirement.
Do you have any link for me how to start here? Is a plugin needed? Are there docs for scripted calculated custom fields?
Googling this mostly tells me there are a lot of plugins that achieve this. Is there a right one for this?
Anybody here who can direct me to an addon and a small example, how to calculate custom fields and maybe docs what possible fields there are?
