How to disable create branch link in selective Jira tickets ?

We have two types of Jira tickets example task and subtask - we see the create branch hyperlink available in both task and subtask Jira forms how do we enable this link only in sub task and not in parent task 

 

Note - create branch hyperlink which helps in creating the feature branch using bitbucket branch from Jira

Yes, you can, I have solved this.

Solution is to have a dedicated workflow for your tasks not being subtasks (as usual) and on each state of that issue workflow you set the property...

jira.permission.viewversioncontrol.denied

...and that's it. Then the development tools are not visible in any of the states anymore, but can still be seen/used on underlying issues with another workflow.
