I am looking for a not too complicated way of extracting output (count mostly) from executing a JIRA query through some scripts.
For e.g. Is there a way I can write a script which does the following:
// Use <...url...> for connecting to JIRA instance, Login using <userid>, <password>
// Run "....." Jira query OR "...." filter and extract the count of the query or filter output in to "count1" variable.
Any help is highly appreciated
