I need to create epics in jira from excel , copy and paste and manually adding will consume lot of time . is there any plugins or add-ins that we export data from excel to Jira ?
An epic is just an "Epic" type issue in Jira and you can easily create issues via the Jira REST API. If I were you, I would save the Excel file to a CSV and write a little script that creates the epics from the CSV data.
