Our Jira server deprecated TLS1 and TSE1.1, and broke our Java program that uses the Java Jira REST Api. Is there a way to set the TLS version for the Java program and the api? The program didn't set it previously
We're getting this error:
com.atlassian.jira.rest.client.RestClientException: com.sun.jersey.api.client.ClientHandlerException: javax.net.ssl.SSLException: Received fatal alert: protocol_version
I tried to use Java command line parameters to set the TLS version, but still get the errors.
-Dhttps.protocols=TLSv1.2 -Djdk.tls.client.protocols=TLSv1.2
We're still using an older Jira api library, jira-rest-java_client, version 1.2-m01. I tried to change to version 5.2.0, but it resulted in a lot of compiler errors. If we could stay with the older version, it will save us some time.
Thanks.
