This question is in reference to Atlassian Documentation: Exporting Search Results to Microsoft Excel
Searching, I found https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRA-32352 <-- does this mean, that Excel Export is no longer supported? So this article (https://confluence.atlassian.com/jira064/exporting-search-results-to-microsoft-excel-720416693.html) would be out of date.
The article you've found is not out of date. It refers to JIRA 6.4, which has not changed.
