Edit Label field alone when the JIRA ticket is in locked state

Hi

I want to allow user to edit label field alone when the ticket is already in locked status (issue.editable = false)

I know, we can add a transition button and add a screen with Label field to that transition. That way, we can edit the label field.

Is there any other way to achieve this?

ah In our case, we just want to let them to edit Label field and all other field should be locked. I was aware of this script runner behaviour. but, we have too many fields and no.of fields will get increased in future. so adding behaviour does not seems to be good idea.
