LDAP users in lowercase

Hi,

We are trying to setup an Internal with LDAP authentication user directory in Jira. when we have the user loggedin for the first time, we see the username in uppercase.

Can we force this to be in lowercase?

May I know by default the user name is lowercase? In this case, I don't think username can be edit.
