Can I create a kanban board with multiple projects and a component specific to one of the 2 projects

I have this filter in place for one on my Kanban boards:

Project in (“Project 1”, “Project 2”) ORDER BY  Rank ASC  

However, what I'm trying to show is all items in Project 1 and for Project 2, we only want items with Component = X visible in the Kanban.

Is this possible?  Having trouble figuring it out.

Yes, this is possible. To do this, you'll want to update the filter of your Kanban board.

You'll want your filter to look something like this:

Project = project1 OR (project = Project2 and component = component) order by rank asc
