How can I apply versioning in a .net project before build?

Hello, 

Our company decided to migrate from tfs to git and use Atlassian products (Bitbucket and Bamboo) recently. All other teams can handle this migration but my team has a problem: 

Situation :

1. We have a big and old project. ( there is a solution file with about 180 .csproj file)

2. Versioning apply on every project(csproj) separately. 

3. We pack and push every project as nuget to a local repository. 

4. We can't decrease or separate projects now.

 

Problem:

So we have a repository with 180 projects that must build together but get version separately. Also we need to apply versioning on exact csproj that got changes not all projects. 

 

What I thought about solution :

Modify AssemblyInfo.cs of projects that changed when a merge done on master branch and then commit a new change. 

 

Please tell me how can I do this ? or maybe you have some suggestion that help me to solve this problem.

This sounds like more of a git question than specifically Atlassian products, however it would be interesting to know how you got this to work as you describe in TFS. That might shed some light on the kind of workflow that might be required to do it in git. I am of course assuming you were using TFVC and not TFS's git repos.

(180 projects in one solution??? That must take forever to load in VS!)
