Can I use Confluence for general open users to create an Alumni group

Ashwin Gaidhani

I would also like to know the pricing model for

1. Confluence implementing cost

2. Confluence License cost - need clarification

Note: lets us say for illustration - I am planning to build and connect with 10,000 people.

If I want to host Confluence on my server how many licenses do I need and what will the cost per year - and the recurring cost.

&

what is the combined license price of Jira & Confluence

Hi @Ashwin Gaidhani

welcome to this wonderful community!

For a first impression check out pricing model you find here and for further information would be good to get support from Atlassian and/or partners.

In my opinion Confluence would work very well as an Alumni platform. Pricing may be different as connection of 10,000 is not the same as not all people may need a licence to create content. Depends on really what you wanna do on the platform and what those people should do there - especially what you talk about using JIRA there too.

Sounds really interesting and I would love to hear more.
