User don't receive blogpost notification

Julia Erdel

Hey to all,

I disabled the functions that user get mails when someone is editing or moving a page but dont touched the blogpost function. Now I wrote a blogpost because we are updating the Version and noone got notification about the post. I dont know if there is any conection between my Setting and the problem. But I dont think so.

I tired to edit the post and set the notify watchers button but it doesnt help.

I would be happy if someone has an idea how to fix this.

Regards,

Julia

The Users have to set their own profile to subscribe to Blogposts - refer section "Watching for all new blog posts on the site": https://confluence.atlassian.com/doc/watch-pages-spaces-and-blogs-139579.html

Hello Rodney,

as an admin I put them all to the watchlist of the site/blog.

Perhaps - but they each have to set their own individual profiles to subscribe to blog posts otherwise they don't get the email notifications
