How can I add an automated sequence to send an email when I move cards between different lists?

I am using Trello for my Sales Team as an overview over the pipeline of our leads. I want to send an email to our lead when they move in the pipeline. Example: Let's say they have booked a qualification call, and we then decide they are qualified, so we book the actual Sales Call. When we drag them from the "Qualification call"-list to the "Sales call"-list, I want an automated email to be sent to our prospects. Is this possible, and how do I do it?

PS: We are putting the leads as the cards

@Vegard Karlsson If you use Crmble CRM, then you can integrate BenkoDesk or BenkoBoard with it to automatically send emails to the contact from the card using "@crmble", I describe it here:

I tested BenkoBoard. You can easily make it work as long as you have access to your record for the lead. You can communicate via a Butler write to the card comment with @to or @reply if there is already and active email correspondence prior. I built a prototype for a lead record to be email verified via a prospect’s email reply to confirm email. Once is done, that card can be taken through qualification process you have described.

Just one thing: Wouldn't we have to send the emails manually by the way you are describing it now? I'm looking for a way to have one specific email sent out to all leads that reach one stage (a list).

For example: Mary is one of our leads. She is currently in the "Qualification call"-list. Once she is qualified, we'll drag her card to the next list, which is "Closing call booked". I then want an email to be sent automatic when she appear in the "Closing call booked"- list.

Did this make sense?

As long as you have prospect’s email on the card like a CF that Butler or part of cardname you can read, with BenkoBoard you can automatically send the email each time a card moves into a list, or severals together using a different trigger. At different stage it will be a different email. I have Iain permission to use BenkoBoard as part my solutions to clients. I think it makes for a seamless integration with Trello handling the internal workflow and BB doing the messaging to client on gmail.

I am doing literally the same way and stuck in the same place " card email"....... did you end up figuring it out with gmail for the automation ? If you could help me out id appreciate it, been stuck on this for a few days now....

I figured it out, yes. So they way we do it is we put their email in the description on the card. Then you can use "Card Description" in Zapier. But you cannot put any other information in the description when you do it this way.

I think it's called "Card desc" in Zapier.

Does that mean once the card is created as the qualifying call on trello you have to delete all other info and just leave email every single time?

Because once an appt is booked on through my google calendar, a card is created on trello under "qualifying call" . In the description, it has all the info like the message they left phone number etc.

I want to set up automation to where every time i drag the card from that list to closing call a email is sent to the client automatically.

I do exactly that. Whenever I drag a card, an email is sent. But I have not connected my google calendar to Trello. I manually create new cards when a call is booked.

apperently my other account was connected here on my phone ahha
