page version diff incomplete

Question

Hi,

basically, the comparison of page versions detects for spaces (added/deleted). We currently have a page where a space has been added, but this is not displayed in comparison to the previous page version.
A blank space is not critical. However, the reliability of the comparison is critical, because review processes are linked to it.

Have you ever seen a similar case? I could not find a bug ticket so far.

Hi Thiago,

at the moment we have one known affected page version. I don´t want to share the page content for public. Do you want to have it via Support-Ticket?

Hi @Thomas

I've created a test page and added just a space as a modification.
The page comparison feature was able to identify the modification.

Would you mind sharing the storage format of the two different versions of this sample page you mentioned?

This may help us to understand the actual difference on the content.
