Integration with JIRA Software Cloud

Hi,

Does anybody know how to get the Statuspage option to show within the issue view of a classic software project in JIRA Software Cloud?

I've setup a Statuspage and integrated it with a JIRA Service Desk project and a JIRA Software next-gen project. All of this works as expected.

We use a JIRA software classic software project for all our work. I have integrated Statuspage with this project but I cannot see the StatusPage integration button within the class software project. I had hoped it would work in the same way as it does for next gen projects.

It looks like the "Statuspage" button only works with the "new issue view". So to get it working with a classic software project you need to have the new issue view switched on https://support.atlassian.com/jira-core-cloud/docs/turn-the-new-issue-view-on-or-off/

I have successfully integrated Statuspage with Service Management. The issue I'm having is the integration with JIRA Software Cloud https://support.atlassian.com/statuspage/docs/set-up-the-jira-software-integration/

It works with next-gen software project but doesn't appear to work with a classic software project.

I think I've been able to answer my own question.

For the JIRA classic software project, create a new board, or view an existing one.

In the board settings, select the "Roadmap" menu item and ensure that the roadmap feature is turned on.

When viewing an issue in the roadmap, the Statuspage button is visible on the issue view.

If anybody knows how to get the Statuspage button to appear in the boards issue view then please let me know.

Three years later for your post, it still seems like a mission to get the integration working. Can you please shed some light on the solution?

These are the steps I conducted:
1. Added Jira App on Statuspage
2. Created an incident.

This doesn't work.

I can't find any reference in my projects (=Jira Cloud), to the Roadmap feature, not under the board settings or the project settings.

Any thoughts on how I can get the integration working?
