How do I add a workflow to a template?

Question

Trying to add a workflow to a template so that each page created from said template has the workflow incorporated.  I am not on a DI2E server and my permissions are only for my space.  Attempted to create a plug-in but the workflow is not included with the XML file.  It will also require easily updatable approvers list (high turn-over rate) and notifications to the approvers (email).  I keep hitting dead ends, can anyone help?

If you have the Workflows for Confluence plug-in, you can use auto-assign (in workflows console) +labels to assign a given workflow to pages created from a specific template.

Thanks for posting your question to the community. Confluence is a great collaboration tool that allows users to be notified (space/page watchers) as soon as content is created and have them comment on it. Unfortunately Confluence doesn't have a great method to help with process and control with documentation notification review. Having said that, as @Tinker Fadoua mentioned, this is where Atlassian's Marketplace can extend your experience with Confluence.

Atlassian's Marketplace has some really cool tools to help fill the gap for your review process of your Confluence Documentation. Comala Document Management or Comala Document Control are an example of apps that can provide a review and approval process with a built in email notification or enhance your experience with customized email notifications.

Both app's are available on the Marketplace and you can try them for free for 30 days for Confluence Server

Not advertising for any vendor here, however one of the ways to get this done is by using Comala workflows. They will help you achieve everything you are trying here. Without creating a template, just have the Admin apply the workflow to your space. Each time someone creates a page it will go through the workflow approval.
