How to upload Excel-files seperate on the same page in Wiki

Question

Hello helpful helper of Atlassian,

i wanted to create a page in our Wiki space to upload files.

On that page i would like to upload two different files, so i created two tables for that.

But when i upload on file in one table it also uploads the same file in the other table.

It seems that you use two Attachment macros for the purpose, but they collect all files from your page, they simply duplicate each other.

Create a simple Confluence table and manually attach the required files into the cells using the Insert files and images button:

Thanks for your quick reply.

Not sure how this could help me or maybe my brain doesnt get it.

Anyway, i dont want to create the tables out of the file itself. I would like to attach 2 files in 2 different tables on the same page.

But if i upload file 1, it is also shown in the space of file 2.

Is there something i can do to prevent that to happen?

Hi @Marco Schneider ,

Have no access to your page, but still we recommend to use additional apps to work with Excel files in Confluence.

For example, our Table Filter and Charts for Confluence app provides the Table from CSV macro. The macro allows you to output a table from CSV or TSV data source and supports outputting data from a URL (Google Sheet/Google Drive) or an attached file.

The macro transforms each CSV file into a native looking Confluence table, and you can have as many macros (i.e. tables) on the page as you need.
