Is it possible to have update dates per section in a Confluence page?

Hi guys, 

I have a Confluence page with lots of sections that are updated at different frequencies; some will be updated daily, while others are only updated once every few months. 

What I would like is that when viewing the page I see a datestamp of when each section was last updated. 

Is this something that is possible? Anyone got any ideas?

The only way I can think to do something like this is to put each section into its own page and then use the page include macro to include all of the sections onto one page. Then each section will have a time stamp. Then you would need to create a user macro to embed in each section that display's the update time.
