How to make the Issue navigator as the default view for project issues?

1- configured the scrum board such that it has Status and Story Points fields

2- when browsing the backlog: the custom fields are not shown.

3- when clicking "view in Issue navigator" from the drop down menu which is activated by a right click on an issue, these fields appear in the Issue navigator.

My question: how to make this Issue navigator(with the custom fields) as the default view that appears when I click backlog icon?

You can add field to backlog car layout by bringing board configuration:

then go to card layout and add your fields to backlog card layout:

You can also add a quick link to any pages (include issue navigator) from your board view, via this button:

I have done the steps as you described. However, still not what I am looking for in the backlog view.

Probably a couple of screenshots might help in explaining my question.

Here is the backlog view:

As you can see, it does not have the story points field. Even the status is shown below the story name, not as a field.

Although the issue navigator looks exactly as I want it:

As you see in the pictures, The status added to your backlog view. Please add a value for the DM-1 story point, then check it again on your backlog. The story point is a built-in Jira field and It already exists on your backlog if it has value

I have another issue now, that might resolve this one as well!

I configured my screen as follows:

As can be seen, Story Points field is added.

However, when editing the issue, the Story Points does not show up.
