Service desk trial giving me an error when I try and create my first service desk?

I've started my trial of JIRA Service Desk but when I try and create my first service desk I get the following error.

'There was a problem setting up your first service desk, sorry about that.'

When I try and just click Service Desk>Create a Service Desk I get the following error:

Error There was a problem creating Automation rules for this new Service Desk

Any ideas? This is for JIRA Service Desk Cloud service.

Same here after creating Servicedesk trial on our current subscription and accessing 'my first servicedesk'

Having the same issue, I found a workaround by creating a new project in JIRA and set it as a Service Desk project template.

File a Cloud (Jira) support ticket and they would fix it for you. I too had the same problem.

Same thing here. Seems to be this:

Just run into a similar error. The following exception was thrown:
"Directory does not allow adding of groups"

I was logged in as an LDAP user when clicking "My first Service Desk". As soon as I performed this action as an "Internal User" it worked.
