I have installed the Jira Service Desk on my Window Server 2019 and I want to automate the starting services of jira Service desk as a window services.

Please help me in this regards I will be very thankful for your prompt support.

@M Asif after you successfully start Jira for the first time (or after an upgrade), it should install itself as a windows service. You can set that service to start automatically.

Hi there,

I'm afraid I'm not quite following what you are asking. When Jira starts up, so will Jira service desk, as long as it's been installed as a component on the Jira core platform. Did you want something else to happen?

Are you running Jira Service Desk separately from Jira core?

So each one is running on a different port?

@M Asif If you have separate instances on the same machine, you will need to have separate ports setup. There is no way around it. It is a limitation of the TCP/IP stack, not Atlassian.

However, if your Service Desk instance is the same instance as your Core instance, then they are already the same website, and you don't need to setup a separate port.
