Fix version field is not editable

Question

Hi Team,

We have fix version/s field available on create/edit and view screens.

But even though its available on edit screen, We are not able to edit it.

I have resolve issue permission as well, still the issue is there.

Please suggest a solution for this.

If you can't change stuff when an issue is in a certain status, then this usually means that you have a workflow that is blocking the permission you need by using workflow properties on the status.

I've similar issue. I do have resolve issue permission and I can set version except if status is not resolved.

I suspect your users do not have "resolve issue" permission.  This is a well buried and there for archaic reasons I won't bore you with, but check the description for "resolve issue" in the project permission scheme.
