Hi I am new to JIRA and wondered if people generally start a new project or use epics to sort their work. What is your decision criteria?

I usually base creating a new Project on whether it is a new (or different) team. If so, then a new project. If it is just different work for the same team - then an Epic if it is a defined period of time for the work happening or Component if it will be on-going work.
