Dear all,
is an option available to turn on line numbering for Confluence pages? This would be beneficial for reviewing Confluence pages.
Best regards,
Jens Goetz
Hi Jens,
One way to add a numbered list in Confluence is to type a hash or pound '#' symbol followed by a space. Autoformat will then convert the line to a numbered list and you can continue typing your text immediately after it. Each time you hit enter the editor will automatically iterate another number in the list for you, until you press enter twice to break out of the list.
All the best,John
This feature is not part of the standard confluence. One Problem are the different kind of Elements that are going to be displayed (Images; Tables; Text; Makros).
Maybe its possible to write a little javascript to count the lines of the text parts
Hello John,
this is not a good solution because this would merge the view and the model layer. So if this is not a built-in function of Confluence's view layer, I need a hint how to change it programmatically. Do you know if this is possible by writing a Confluence plug-in?
