Create Issue Helper Not Defaulting to Epic

I have a Kanban board who's filter is:

 

project = DTBTCD AND issuetype in standardIssueTypes() AND ("Epic Link" = Interruptions or "Epic Name" = "Interruptions") ORDER BY Rank ASC

 

At the bottom of the backlog on this board is the `+ Create Issue` helper which I was hoping would auto-select the only possible Epic.  That's not the case and the cards created on this backlog are immediately not visible because of it. 

 

How can I default the Epic so cards are immediately visible?

Unfortunately, the possibility to auto-select fields to match the filter conditions when creating issues from the inline option in the board backlog does not exist at this moment, however, we agree that this would be a very useful feature.

That being said, we created the following feature requests created to consider this possibility in the future:

Auto populate fields in new backlog issue according to current filter 

Create issue based on epic/version filter in backlog
