Comments in JIRA- default location

Hi,

We have comment section in JIRA by default; however where is the default location where all the data is stored?

e.g attachement there is a seperate folder in Data directory of jira.

Hi Neeta,

all the attachments are stored into <HOME_FOLDER>/data directory. If you want you could change this path using a symbolic link (linux) or a linked folder (windows).

Jira stores data in two places - attachments on the file system and everything else in the database. Andris has told you which table to look in for comments.
